We spent the last week in Texas with my family to honor the life that my Granddaddy lived. After 82 years of living a life of giving to others, humility and giving honor to God, he went home to be with the Lord. Almost 20 years ago, Granddaddy had a kidney transplant and over the last few years he has fought to keep his body in working order. Our family always joked that he has fought death more than anyone we have ever met. What a great person he was and i am assured that he is in no more pain!

My sympathies on your loss. God bless your grandpa. My Grandpa went to be with our Lord about 3 years ago. I miss him everyday... I know that one day, I will see him in Heaven too. We serve an awesome God. Blessings and peace.
He was a very good man indeed! I know your family is going to miss him so much! He was quite the fighter, but I am so glad he is home with the Lord and no longer suffering.
