Addicition

kandk1 12 @ Yahoo! Video

I try not to post videos very much (unless they are amazing) mainly because they don't normally get much response. BUT, there is so much truth in this video/dance from So You Think You Can Dance last night that it is eerie. We become so addicted to something that it enraptures us and won't let us go. can you relate? Is there something in your life that you feel like has a hold on you?

Watch this video. Release the hold that sin has in your life. Then, and only then, can you walk in true freedom. And true freedom ONLY comes from the Source of Life: Jesus.

I just actually viewed this post in my reader and it was amazing. I love SYTYCD but have not watched this episode yet (it's something my teenager and I do together). I am glad to see this singled out so I get to cry over it twice. :) Dance grabs me like that. So true about addiction, too. Enrapture is a great word to use to describe it.

The dance so pictures how hard it is to escape, but of course it falls short in that it doesn't show that there IS an escape. Thanks for doing that!

That's beautiful Jenna! A couple of people I know posted this on their facebook pages, but the video had been removed for copyright. Glad I got to see it, and love that you brought home the point about real freedom. AMEN, well said!

Hi! Just swinging by from SITS Roll Call to say hello.

Interesting dance - I'm not a fan of the show but you could certainly tell that he related to the subject matter and that translated in his dance for sure. I agree though that her hair was a distraction from her expression.

Hi! I'm here from SITS. I noticed this post and had to tell you how much I loved this piece too.

It's been one of my favorite ones that Mia Michaels did, and I always adore her numbers. It gave me chills. And Kayla and Kapuno (sp?) have never looked better.

I LOVE dance. I was a dancer in high school and miss it terribly. So when I watch talented dancers portray a message this powerful I simply get chills all over.
