we went canoeing on the Harpeth river this weekend with two of our favorite people. It was PERFECT weather for it and we had such a great time. I did MOST of the paddling and Matt fished the whole time from the back of the canoe. He said that was his attempt to let me exercise since i said i wanted a "FIT PREGNANCY". HA! What a punkin he is to let me do the work for the sake of a healthy body and baby.
unfortunately, despite my attempts and best efforts, i didn't get a tan. hopefully with lots of outside time coming, so will my olive skin come back to me...
i really have no idea what i am doing here. FLYING to the canoe? sure...
just taking one for the team and fishing...that's my boy...
sea shells on the river? sure...

I've never been canoeing but it looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteI love canoeing! I'd take the warm by itself, tan or no tan. Glad you had fun!
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun! I haven't been canoeing in a few years. Where is that place? The land looks like a place my parents used to take us when I was really little.
ReplyDeleteOver from SITS.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a fun time floating. I haven't done that in ages. Soon, the Wild Indians will be big enough to go for their first float. That will be an adventure!
You must be a really good floater - cause I would sure enough tip over if I was toting my camera! That's just my luck!
Looks like a fun time! Congrats on being Saucy this week. I almost missed the saucy blogs on the new SITS site.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your Saucy sidebar feature!
ReplyDeleteHere from SITS. Congrats on having a saucy blog!
ReplyDeleteI kept looking back to check the date of the canoe trip and yes....is was just recently. ALL of our lakes are FROZEN and covered with snow here. I forget that it's not that way everywhere. :)
I've been canoeing and it is so relaxing...if you can forget about the several feet of water underneath you!
looks as though you had a great time...tanned or not :)...thanks for visiting last week!
ReplyDeleteHi! I came over from SITS. Congrats on Saucy!
